Man dies, another injured following GB car collision

A man is dead and another is in hospital after a late night car collision on Grand Bahama, police reported. Police were called to the crash scene at Midshipman and Balao Roads at 11:10 p.m. on Friday. They found a 58-year-old man, the driver of a gray 2004 Nissan Frontier, dead.

Dog cruelty judgment 'a hollow victory'

FREEPORT - The Humane Society of Grand Bahama believes the animal cruelty judgment in the case of a severely malnourished dog was a "hollow victory".

After a year of adjournments in the Magistrates Court, of Wenito Bootle suddenly changed his plea to guilty and was granted a conditional discharge and ordered to pay $1,758 in costs.
